Even if you’re not religious, studying religion can help you understand the complex world we live in.
At a Glance
Religious Studies examines different religions and spiritualities from around the world, comparing and contrasting stories, practices, beliefs, and material culture to ask questions like, “What is religion?” and “How do religions shape our world today?”
Theology is a deep dive into a particular religion so you can develop a fulsome understanding of how that tradition works from the inside, as well as how it bridges between its ancient roots and contemporary concerns.
Engage with this program to gain a better understanding of how religion and spirituality continue to shape societies around the world. You’ll learn to successfully and compassionately navigate challenging cultural and social situations, as well as gain an appreciation for the diversity and complexity of global religious traditions today.
