Incoming Board Member Ali Budd, President and Principal Designer of Ali Budd Interiors, notes her connection to the University and personal commitment to Huron’s mission, “Huron means a lot to me as an alumni and now member of the board. The opportunity to be in a place with small class sizes, dedicated professors, and an intimate and welcoming student experience allowed me to find my confidence as a student. My time at Huron offered me a safe space for growth and ultimately helped shape who I am as a person and an entrepreneur.”
In 2021, Huron announced the appointment of its first Board of Governors, comprised of leaders from both Canadian and international prominent organizations. Each Board Member plays an integral role in Huron’s leadership structure, advising the University on how to enhance and expand Huron’s impact in Canada and globally.
Huron President Dr. Barry Craig commends the incredible leadership and spirit of philanthropy in Huron’s Board of Governors, noting the current Board has donated nearly $24M to support Huron’s mission in recent years. He says the appointment of these new Board Members indicates great things for the University.
Media partners are invited to speak directly with Huron’s President, Dr. Barry Craig, for commentary on these important new appointments.
