Weston International Scholars Program

The Weston International Scholars Program is aimed at expanding equitable access to Huron University’s world-class education on a global scale. The Program, which was made possible through a $1.8 million gift from The Hilary and Galen Weston Foundation, offers full scholarships to twelve exceptional international students from underserved regions around the world from 2025 – 2030.

About the Program

Over the next five years, Huron will recruit students who have demonstrated resilience, academic promise, and a passion for community leadership in the face of adversity, offering each scholar a full-ride four-year Huron University undergraduate experience in Canada.

The scholarship will cover:

At Huron, we believe that education should never be a privilege reserved for the few. It must be a pathway to opportunity for all. Supporting international students from marginalised communities is not just an act of compassion; it’s a commitment to justice. These students bring resilience, perspective, and a deep desire to lead with conscience. They make Huron a stronger community. By investing in their futures, we’re investing in a better and more equitable world.
