Description |
Huron’s undergraduate degree with a Major or Minor in Religion & Theology trains students in understanding the way religious and theological issues have evolved and continue to influence contemporary life and culture, in a context that encourages discussion, critical thinking, reflection, and research. | Our second-entry professional master’s degree program prepares students for theological engagement, research, and leadership in a variety of settings. Students can choose to concentrate in several areas in either Christian or Islamic studies for professional or academic advancement. | Our MDiv degree prepares students for ordained ministry as well as general pastoral and religious leadership in church, parish, chaplaincy, and adjacent settings including law and medical practice. Although Huron is historically Anglican, members of all denominations are welcome in the program. | Our Master of Arts provides students with a research degree which allows them to explore personal or professional interests at the graduate level, while at the same time to laying a solid foundation for doctoral study in related areas for those wishing to pursue further critical research. | Our LTh is designed to equip students for vocational discernment as lay readers in the Church. This is a pre-degree diploma program intended for those who take seriously a call to Ministry while recognizing that “Ministry” is manifested in many diverse yet equal ways. |
