Assistant Professor of Practical Theology and LTh Instructor

The aim of my research and teaching is to inspire and encourage people in the community of faith, and beyond, in practical theology.

Jeffrey Paul Crittenden is Assistant Professor of Practical Theology at Huron University College in London, Ontario, and Lecturer at Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto. A 30-year member of the clergy, he also serves at St. Andrews United Church in Toronto and is the founder and current pilgrimage studies director for the Centre for Practical Theology (Canada). Dr. Crittenden’s previous work, Leisure Resurrected (2023), examines the recovery of communal worship and rest from the perspective of the early Church.
