Huron University and the Huron Alumni Association are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Huron Alumni Awards of Distinction. For more than 20 years, these awards have celebrated members of the Huron alumni network for their professional accomplishments, significant community contributions, and impact on Huron and our students.
We are delighted to introduce the 2025 Award Recipients:
“The Alumni Awards of Distinction are a powerful reminder of the impact our alumni have across Canada and around the world,” says Dr. Barry Craig, President of Huron University. “We are proud to recognize Nick, Stephanie, Vivek, and Peter- true Leaders with Heart whose achievements reflect the values of a Huron education. This is about honouring their impact and strengthening the lifelong connections that make Huron such a special community.”
To recognize our recipients and connect with one another, an alumni reception and awards celebration will take place in Toronto on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 at Scotiabank Arena’s Hot Stove restaurant. This exciting evolution brings together celebration and connection in one unforgettable evening, honouring the remarkable achievements of Huron graduates who continue to lead with purpose and passion.
“Our alumni are the heartbeat of Huron,” says Chelsea Smith (’11), President of the Alumni Association Board. “This new format gives us the opportunity to celebrate their achievements in a lively and inspiring setting that reflects the energy and pride of our alumni network. We’re thrilled to bring this celebration to Toronto!”
