Huron University College announces its partnership as Lead Educational Partner for Global Student Leadership Summit
Huron University is happy to announce the formal collaboration and strategic partnership with Youth Leadership Camps Canada (YLCC) Inc. for the 2017 Global Student Leadership Summit (GSLS) on April 9-11, 2018 as the summit’s Lead Educational Partner.
More than 3,000 student leaders and educators from over 20 countries will attend the summit, as the GSLS marks the largest conference ever held in the city of London. Huron’s mission is to educate Leaders with Heart; partnering with an organization like YLCC helps us exemplify what leadership with heart means to our students and community. In turn, we hope to demonstrate how tomorrow’s leaders can contribute to a just and equitable society through responsible civic engagement.
Huron University College Principal, Dr. Barry Craig, was honoured to speak among distinguished guests, such as London Mayor Matt Brown, Olympian Sarah Wells and the Founder of YLCC Inc., Stu Saunders this past week at the London Convention Centre (Ontario, Canada).
Huron recognizes how important such a summit is when fostering leadership in our students, and we are excited to take part in such large-scale event – that we hope will have an even bigger impact.
