What I love about London Life: London has great parks along the Thames River. Especially during the summer, it’s scenic with green space. It’s a diverse city with a great community and many restaurants and eateries, which makes it very lively.
Which Huron Residence I lived in: O’Neil-Ridley
Career Goal: I am aiming to pursue corporate law as a long-term career goal. However, I also hope to work with NGOs or IGOs such as the UNDP, where I can use my passion for research to support achieving sustainable development and human development goals in developing countries in Africa.
The Career Development Team has been beneficial in helping me thrive at Huron because of the tremendous help that they provided me during the summer application period. It was a daunting and overwhelming experience as I recall because of the rejections you at times get when applying for jobs. However, the team does a good job of motivating, guiding, preparing, and coaching you throughout the application and interview process. Through their help, I was able to secure an internship with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada working as a Governance Policy and Research Intern.
