What I love about London Life: I love how unique London is as a city. There is so much to offer in the way of activities, escape rooms, rock climbing, camping, hiking, farmers markets, cafés, etc. There are also so many different areas offering both urban and suburban living styles! One of my favourite things about London is the outdoor skating rinks at Victoria Park and Covent Gardens.
Career Goal: I am considering a future in further education and a career as a professor. I am also considering a future in public/civil service or potentially business.
One thing that drew me to Huron were the values that the institution embodied. Coming to university I expected indifference and competition, but at Huron I was met with empathy and support. I found myself receiving kindness and consideration from the support services at Huron, while I was inspired to become a better person. Looking back, my time at Huron has and continues to shape my view of myself and the world through my own personal evolved philosophy. Whatever the future may bring I will be ready to face it, because in the end I know Huron has prepared me well for anything that comes my way.
