First Year Course Registration 2026
Congratulations, we are so glad that you have chosen Huron and look forward to welcoming you to campus in September!
Year 1 students or incoming transfer students will receive an enrolment appointment. An enrolment appointment marks the date/time that the Student Center will allow you to begin registering in your courses.
Your enrolment appointment will fall between June 22nd and June 26th. Students have until September 17, 2026 to add a fall term course that is worth 0.5 credits or 1.0 full year credit course.
An enrolment appointment marks the date/time that the Student Center will allow you to register in your courses.
Your enrolment appointment will be randomly assigned to you during the week of June 22nd- June 26th. Once you have your appointment, you’ll be able to begin the course registration process.
You’ll receive an email to your Western email account approximately 2–3 days before your appointment, notifying you of your enrolment time.
You can also find this by logging into the Student Center. Click on the Academics tile>Course Registration tile>Enrolment Appointments tile (see diagram below for further details).

We ask all incoming students to attend our course registration session, which is hosted by our Academic Advising team! Our course registration session provides all the information you need to navigate course selection, academic policies and processes, program requirements and resources.
Our Academic Advising team will guide you through the process and help answer all the questions you have about course registration.
We offer course registration sessions in person or virtually over zoom. You are welcome to join as many course registration sessions as you wish.
Once you have attended a course registration session, please reach out to huronsss@uwo.ca to let us know which program/module you wish to pursue, and we will connect you with your Academic Advisor. Your Academic Advisor will review your course selection and ensure you have chosen courses correctly for your desired program!
You can begin drafting your schedule once the Western 2026/2027 Timetable is available. The Draft My Schedule Tool allows you to draft/build your schedule, save and modify your drafted schedule, and create more than one version of your schedule. Please note: you must also finalize your course registration in the Student Center when your enrolment appointment is reached.
You are welcome to register for your courses before attending a course registration session. We ask that you still plan to attend a course registration session. Once you have attended a course registration session, please reach out to huronsss@uwo.ca to let us know which program/module you wish to pursue, and we will connect you with your Academic Advisor to review your course selection. Your Academic Advisor will determine if you have chosen courses correctly for your desired program.
Once you have registered in courses through Student Center, changes can be made until the last day to add a 0.5 or 1.0 credit course is reached, which is September 17, 2026.
