The Making of “Alma Rosé” and Holocaust Memory: A Conversation with Francine Zuckerman

To mark Holocaust Education Week, Huron University invites you to attend a conversation with Toronto-based filmmaker Francine Zuckerman.

On Wednesday, November 6th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, in Huron’s Theatre, join Hernan Tesler-Mabé (Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Jewish Studies program at Huron University) and Francine Zuckerman as they discuss her upcoming film on the life of Alma Rosé, director of the Women’s Orchestra of Auschwitz. Francine will share her insights on the making of this film, including her interview with 99 year-old Anita Lasker-Wallfisch, a surviving member of the Women’s Orchestra of Auschwitz.

Free parking will be available in the South Parking Lot at Huron University. Refer to #23 on the linked Campus Map.
